AS WE NAVIGATE 6 WEEKS OF LOCKDOWN IN MELBOURNE, EACH WEEK WE'LL EXPLORE THE STAGES OF GRIEF THROUGH THE CREATIVE LENS AND UNIQUE PERSPECTIVE OF SEVEN COLLABORATORS
EACH WEEK, WE’LL DROP THEM A 27-ROLL DISPOSABLE CAMERA WITH A ONE WORD BRIEF. HOW THEY INTERPRET AND DOCUMENT THIS WORD IS ENTIRELY UP TO THEM, THE ONLY THING THEY HAVE TO DO IS FINISH THE ROLL. WHEN WE PICK UP EACH ROLL (AT DISTANCE) WE’LL DROP OFF A NEW CAMERA, WITH A NEW WORD - AND OVER AGAIN UNTIL THE FINAL WEEK OF LOCKDOWN IS DONE.
PROCESSING THE SHOTS WHIP-QUICK, WE’LL BUILD THE GROUP EXHIBITION IN REAL TIME, AS AN INTERACTIVE, EVOLVING 3D MODEL OF THE EXHIBITION AT THE ABOVE.
IN THE END, THE WORK WILL COME TOGETHER IN THE PHYSICAL SPACE ITSELF, AN OPEN EXHIBITION FOR PEOPLE TO ENJOY IN PERSON.
